Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya acted together after a long time, for the prestigious film Bangarraju. Kalyan Krishna is the film's director. Bangarraju is the sequel of Soggade Chinni Nayana. The film was released today and check out the film's review here.

Story:
Souls of Bangarraju (Nagarjuna) and Satyamma (Ramya Krishna) come down to settle the life of their grand-son Chinna Bangarraju (Naga Chaitanya) who turns a playboy and lacks seriousness in life. At the same time, Chinna Bangarraju also faces troubles from the local villains. How did Bangarraju deal with this? Did Chinna Bangarraju become serious in life? What happens in the end? Forms the film's story.

Performances:
Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya combination scenes will bring a big smile to the faces of fans. The two characters are written well and they give perfect entertainment to the fans. They are lovely to watch on the screen. Krithi Shetty is impressive in the role of Naga Lakshmi. The scenes between Chay and Krithi are good too. Faria Abdullah is seen in a special song and so are Daksha Nagarkar and others. Vennela Kishore's comedy is good. All the other actors have given their best for the film.

Technical Aspects:
Technically, the film is solid. Anup Rubens scored the music of the film and his songs are already a big hit. He also scored the background score nicely and gave much-needed attention to the film. The dialogues are quirky and impressive. The camera work is extremely impressive. The visuals are grand. The village atmosphere has been captured nicely. The narration is a little weak and there are some pace issues as well. The editing is decent and the production values are grand.

Verdict:
Set against a rural backdrop, the film has multiple interesting elements. The film is a proper package of action, comedy, drama, and fantasy. The songs are the highlight of the film. There is not any interesting plotline in the film and the movie more or less runs around the screenplay. There are no surprise elements or engaging twists too. Except for this, the rest of the film passes the test. If you look for a serious plot and strong writing, you may get disappointed. But, if you are game for proper festival stuff, the film entertains you thoroughly. On the whole, Bangarraju is a decent rural drama with Nagarjuna and Chay Akkineni driving the film forward. During this festival, the film has all the elements to satisfy all the sections of audiences.

Plus Points:
Nag & Chay
Music & BGM
Camera Work
Dialogues

Minus Points:
Weak Plot
Few lags

Final Verdict: Bangarraju is a proper festival film!
