Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej scored a decent hit earlier this year with Chitralahari. Now, he has teamed up with director Maruthi for the family entertainer Prathi Roju Pandage. The trailer of this film raised expectations on it and the movie finally has hit the theatres today. Here is the review of it.

Story:

Raghuramayya (Satya Raj) lives in Rajahmundry while all of his children and grandchildren live abroad. One day, he gets diagnosed with lung cancer and the doctors tell him that he barely has five weeks left. He informs the same to his family members. None of them shows up to meet Raghuramayya except his grandson Sai Tej (Sai Dharam Tej). The remaining story follows how Tej made sure to make his grandpa happy and taught a lesson to the other family members.

Performances:

Sai Dharam Tej has given a suitable performance to the subtle characterization he got offered with. It is good to see him finding his mojo back. He shows off his impeccable dancing skills in the song Thakita Thakita. Satya Raj was the perfect fit for the role of an old man who is extremely affectionate towards his family. Rao Ramesh lifted the entire film with this acting prowess. He is such a gifted actor in the industry. Raashi Khanna shines in the film as TikTok freak Angel Arna. This is one of her best roles in recent times. Rest others performed well in their given roles.

Technical Aspects:

Director Maruthi wrote an entertaining and emotional family story that can strike a chord with all kinds of audiences. He surely found his form after scoring a few flops. The comedy quotient in the film makes the audience have a fun ride throughout. The production values by GA2 Pictures and UV Creations made the film look richer on the screen. The cinematography is also equally good. Music director Thaman again delivered a promising album for this film. Even the background score is fantastic. The editing by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao is also good and neat.

Review:

Even though it is the same old story which we have seen in many films, Prathi Roju Pandage manages well in keeping the audience engaged with good comedy and emotional scenes. The first half of the film has plenty of comedy scenes and the interval sequence is hilarious to the core. The second half is quite emotional but Rao Ramesh shines in a couple of comedy sequences. The performances are very good and the director has managed the film quite well. It will be a perfect family entertainer to watch in this Christmas festive season.
